sluggish 1.8T

My a4 b51.8t has started to feel a bit sluggish not as responsive as it has been also on starting the car the revs drop and waver up and down then settles has taken couple of starts to start it a few times, also has cut out when for exmple slowing down to turn onto a car park it also smells of petrol a bit hav had the throttle cleaned out this remidied it last time but it has helped but not right it also seems to b using a bit more fuel

Its possible the breather system has a leak. Check the pipes at the rear of the cam cover for hissing. sometimes they go really soft and can collapse.

Clean the MAF out with electrical contact cleaner as a starter.
