A4 TDi what's it worth?

Hi,

I'm a newbie here- I've just sold my Civic Type R for something more economical, and have been offered an A4 TDi 130 SE on a '51 plate for £10900 with 60k on the clock. Does this sound like a good deal?

Advice please!!!

Sounds alright, as long as it has a full service history and has already had its cambelt changed. You need to look closely at the spec, as options can vary immensely.

Welcome to the forums.

Funnily enough, I sold a Civic Type R for a TDI 130 too (Sport, not an SE though).

I'm no expert on prices but that sounds reasonable, especially if it's a dealer. Don't see too many B6 chassis under £10k and the ones that are usually have mega miles or are petrol ones.

I've not regretted swapping for one minute (well Ok, once or twice when I remember pulling 8000 revs with the VTEC screaming its wee heart out!)

it has the FASH, but the cambelt hasn't yet been changed, but I can get that done by an independant specialist for £280. It's an ex-fleet car in v. good condition. What options should I be looking out for? I've looked around on Autotrader and can't really see any other comparible cars for a similar price. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I got a 02 TDi 130SE recently, and I looked for one that had the cambelt changed. I also wanted leather, memory seats, Symphony II (in dash 6 disc changer) and a dark colour. I paid £13000 for that with 70k on the clock.

I tried to find one with split fold rear seats and xenon lights but couldn't find such a car within my budget. If this one has DVD sat nav, then you should bite his hands off.

If it has the spec that you want, you should mention that Audi want over £500 for the cambelt change and see if you can knock that off.
