no power to number plates lights (2002 a4)

hi there

my problem is both number plate lights are out.

just wondering what the next thing to check is...

i have repaced bulbs but no joy, then tested points with a circuit tested to reveal no power.

cant see a fuse anwhere in the car either.

is there a common wiring fault somehwere in this model (saloon 2002 a4 model)

i suppose taking off the boot cover is the next step??

Get yourself into the A4 B6 section and all the answers are there!

The rear number plate bulb holders are probably rusted and the bulbs unable to make a good connection. You'll need a new pair of bulb holders if thats the case.
