intermittent ESP lamp

Yesterday my ESP warning lamp decided to come on. Started the car this morning and it cleared.

On the way back from the garage today after having a service and it came on again about 1 mile from home.

Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be or what to check.

Audi A4 3.0 Cabriolet.

had very same prob. diagnostic showed brake light switch implausible signal "intermittent". £9.55inc vat from audi for a new one. 5 mins to swap it over and no more faults

Does anyone have any details on how to change the brake light switch
