Reversing problem

Evening guys.

Right, come across a little problem this evening. Usually when placing the car into reverse, there is a short beep from the rear from the reversing sensors, and obviously the reverse lights come on. However, since this evening, I now get the beep as soon as the ignition is initiated and the reverse lights are on permanently.

I would assume there is some sort of switch linked to the gear shifter which is now faulty -- does anyone know where it is (if there is one?!) as I had a quick look this evening by pulling up the gear surround and gaiter but as it was getting dark I couldn't see a great deal...

Reverse switch in the gears try giving the gearstick a good thump?

on most cars the reverse switch is on the actual gear box, is it an audi reverse park kit or after market?

I have taken it to a local specialist who has ordered a new switch. Scott, you're right, it is on the gearbox itself. The parking sensors are Audi OEM.

That made me proper laugh too. It is poo how apple default all their stuff to alert people that you are using their products!

Hope you got the reverse switch sorted mate! Maybe the next job is to turn off the signature in tapatalk!
