    Pennies in the ashtray...

    Hello,

I have a slight problem with my Alarm, it goes off when it wants to, checked the siren and thats fine. Fault code is saying interior monitor is setting off the alarm. The garage i bought it off have said that this is a 'common' fault with A4 cabs and Audi have said it can be caused by pennies being in the ashtray and around that area, armrest etc...

    Is this bull?

Nice excuse tho, i like it !!

Seriously, if you can get the code read it will tell you what sensor caused the alarm to go off

Thats the one i would be concerned with, more likely a sensor breaking down, especially when the other module concurs

    49-10 - No Communications - Intermittent
01370 - Alarm triggered by Interior Monitoring
    35-00 - -
