Inner Wheel Arches........ I hate them !!

Does anybody else hate their inner wheel arches ?

Mine seem to be some sort of fibre / fabric, all the cow crap and muck seem to stick to it and it looks minging.

Does anybody know if there is a replacement / mod for these so that a sort of "smooth" hard plastic can be fitted instead of ?

just dont get truck wash on your wheels or paint.. it will take off paint with ease!

I live in the country, so don't really bother cleaning them too much in honesty..... But I have done in the past by soaking them in a strong mix of Meguiars Super Degreaser and then pressure washing them afterwards. I didn't remove the wheel. just turned them from lock to lock so I could see all parts of it.

I suppose it is like that to reduce the crud the car kicks out on the motorways etc.

The degreaser is only £20 a gallon, and is diluted from 1:10 to 1:4 depending on how strong you want it. Available HERE
