White smoke from exhaust - burning oil smell - what could it be?

I'm gettin alot of White smoke from the exhaust and smell like burning. Also noticed oil levels r pretty low, as it was serviced 4 months ago only.

What could be the reason for the burning smoke?

Is it serious?

Jus to add, the small is like a light plastic burning smell.

headgasket is a likely possability. check the expansion bottle for oil and the oil filler cap for mayonize looking stuff

Any chance this is related to your vibration when idling in D?

Possibly. But the car drives fine.

What could ur be? Will be getting it checked by the garage soon

just checked the fluids, the coolant has dropped below min and the engine oil is fine, no mayo like substance.

spoke to my mechanic and he told me to top up the coolant and see how it goes, cos i had the timing belt repaced on Tuesday and the new coolant may have had air in it and now that the airs gone, the coolant has dropped so im just gona top it up and see how it goes.

he also mentioned that it cant be head gasket as ive only done 55k miles. but he will do a test on it to see if theres any gasses in the system next week.

fingers crossed its nothing expensive.

I'd get a new mechanic, head gasket can go for any number of reasons, mileage is irrelevant
