Audi A4 Avant 1.8T Fault code help

Hi All

Last week my engine management warning light came on and the car started to cut out sometimes when left to idle (like you has stalled it) i managed to borrow a VAG diagnostic tool and it came up with the below faults,
"boost pressure regulation valve (N75) open circuit P1548"
and
"fuel trim bank 1(multi) system too lean P1128 - sporadic 001-Upper"

Can any explain these fault to me if possible?

I cleared them on the VAG tool and now the car is running fine ?

Any ideas?

On the older B5 the wiring to the N75 valve used to break and cause the open circuit fault, the other option is it could just be a fault valve.
