Audi A4 1.9 TDI 1996 Dashboard Display. Help!!

Hey Eveyone.

Just joined today and need some help with my Audi A4 1.9 TDI

When i start the car, before the milage comes up it said OIL "flashing"

So i replaced the OIL and filter when i didnt need to since it was recently serviced.

The OIL signal was still there, however its now gone, BUT its now saying In 1 ???.

This flashes for about 30-40 seconds before displaying the milage.

Please tell me whats going on !!

in1 means inspection 1 service oil means oil service, if theae are carried out at audi they reset your service indicators, u can do this yourself, do a search in the forum, im sure u will find what u looking for..
