I have an A4 3.0 Cabriolet.

All is well other than the headliner has to start coming away from the main frame. (Stitching line above the drivers head and above the passenger)

By the looks of it the stitching has started to come out on the drivers side.

Does anyone know of a good way to repair or know of a repairer near Portsmouth.

My wife mentioned just sticking a drawing pin in to stop the stitching coming away anymore.

I will try and stop the thread running first as it only come off by an inch, and then may have to look at a replacement headliner.

I have been looking at headliner today and it seems it has not been aligned properly.

When the hood opens the passenger side liner gets stuck over the hinge instead of slipping over.

I noticed the headliner can actually move from side to side on the metal fittings so I have used a staple gun to reattach the headliner and hopefully moved the headliner more central so it moves over the hinge.

We shall wait and see...

Anyone know where to get a new Head Lining other than Audi as I sure it will cost a fortune
