bumper and mirror removal

Hi all, does anyone know the correct procedure to remove the rear bumper on a avant and also the mirror housing?:think:

The mirrors caps are very straightforward - see HERE.

Ref the bumper, let me know if you're VIN is before 400 000 or after 400 001 and I'll see what I can do ;)

Here you go, it's not overclear in honesty, but I've never done it so can't really offer you any advice.

Remove rear trim panels. Remove bumper (6 nuts each side inside vehicle, 2 torx head screws behind wheel arch liners – also retained with torx head screws, 5 torx head screws along lower edge of bumper. Pull out bumper tips and then pull bumper rearwards).

taken from the towbar instructions, if you have the sub in the back panel, that needs to be taken out aswell, the rear side panels are tight to get out.
