Door lock problem, advice please?

Can anyone tell me the name of the part that i have circled here:

I have a problem where it will no fully open wide when the door opens resulting it the door rebounding when i slam it shut?

Anyone have similar problems?

Try geasing it up and make sure its released ...... put a screwdriver in it and pull the handle so that you can unlatch it from the lock position

I've already gave it a good saoking with WD40, but still no joy. Is it spring loaded, as it seems like it isnt getting forced fully open when i open the door.

Does anyone know if it is easily replaced, and what the exact part name is?

I should have a spare on my old doors but I'm off to Eygpt tomorrow for a week but I think it's a easy swap out.

door lock , mech ,.. or if you have a fault code simply- door module , had to change one on my rear door , same problem got it from , sandburn audi-vw breakers in coventry , £25 , awkward to change ... there's one on the bay. item No. 260457463692
