turbo help!!!

ok so i have established my turbo is well past its best!!!

its leaking oil and has loads of play on the spindle!!

im trying to source a replacement in the form of a second hand one which is proving very hard!!

the car is a 2002 52 plate A4 1.9tdi 100bhp model engine code is AVB

i havent had chance to get the turbo off yet but got in with my camera so i could get the part number and the only thing i can see is 028145702R

now what im wondering is if theres any other turbos that will fit!! or am i limited to choice!!

the only second hand ones i can see are at £200 now i want to buy cheap just to see me through till i can get mine reconditioned

or does anyone know a place that can recon my turbo at a reasonable cost ??

tbh 200 dosnt seem too bad a price, there are some on ebay recon ones i think, but there at 450 -500 curious how many miles your motor done?

well looks like i will be going for one at around 200 quid then for now lol then get mine reconditioned as soon as funds allow

its pretty high milage 250k+ still OE turbo!!!

it runs spot on mate

pulls really well in any gear and is as good as any other audi i have driven and i have driven a fair few

i know of one near me with 380k on the clock and still runs like new too!!!
