Just looking for some advice. i am looking at an Audi 1.9tdi avant sport with an auto gearbox. Should i avoid the auto version. the garage give 12 months warranty on everything. Love the car but concerned. Also the mileage is 118,000on the clock.
Cheers Johnson

I suspect the auto in question is a Multitronic CVT.

If it is, make absolutely sure it has had the transmission oil changed every 40,000 miles. If this cannot be documented with absolute certainty, walk away.

118,000 is nothing for a tdi mate have a tdi my self and its on 138.000 and its fine im told by many its not run in yet and iv seen many with 250.000
and still going strong

Welcome to the forum :icon_thumright:

As mentioned the mileage shouldn't concern you. Audi recommend a timing belt change at 80k for the 1.9 (I think) but most people will go for one at 60k, so I would budget £300-400 to change it if they won't include it in the deal.
