Please forgive my ignorance on matters "Audi" but I've just had an oil & filter change, Castrol Edge, at a local garage and they reset the indicator showing 9000 mls. till the next, am I correct in thinking that the interval is 20,000 mls. for an oil change using the said oil ? if correct should the indicator show 20,000 ? or have they set it incorrectly ?

I think if you reset it through the trip computer it defaults to 10k annual servicing, I think you need vag-com to set the long life service..
