Oil leak??

Hi people, just a bit of advice really!!

I picked up my new motor today:

2004 A4 Avant 2.5 tdi quattro sport (180) only 47k on the clock

I had a big smile on my face all the way home!!!
When i got home and parked up, the in depth car inspection started!! Everything was looking sweet when i noticed oil coming out the bottom of the undertray. On inspection the leak seems to be coming from the oil sump gasket, just next to the front engine mount?? does anyone have experience of this on this particular model ??

i wouldnt bother, i would take it back to where you purchased it an get them to correct it

i will take it back to them, it just would be nice to know if it was a common fault.

Mines the same model but 2003 and 100k and no sing of any leaks there
