Can someone identify these photos from my engine?
and the metal bit underneath it, sorry bad picture.
I could be wrong, but the top one looks like a breather filter.
Can they be taken out and cleaned?
No filters there.
The top plastic black one is the one way breather valve from your engine to the turbo inlet pipe. They shouldnt need cleaning although the PCV can get a little blocked from oil sludge. This is the source of finding oil in your turbo inlet pipe.
Judging by the jubilee clip that PCV and pipe have been off before.
The Silver Valve underneath is your SAI (Secondary Air Injection) Valve. Basically there is a small electric pump underneath your exhaust manifold that pumps air into the engine to help the CAT heat up faster. Once the CAT is at operating temp the SAI Valve closes.
