turbo timer and boost controller

hey guys, what's up? like i said i'm new to the audi world and i'm pretty sure this is doable but i want to make sure. i'm thinking about getting the stage 4 kit

http://www.stratmosphere.com/oct_a4g21.htm and I wanted to ask you guys if installing a boost controller and turbo timer on an A4 is fine. I've heard that BOV are not doable on audi's but i'm still not quite sure as to why. Sorry but i'm a real noob when it coems to audi's.
