Audi 1.9 tdi Air Lock?

Hi,

I seem to have an air lock in the system.

The car reaches 90 with the heaters off as soon as you switch the heaters on the temp goes down. Also the top water pipe stays cold.

The ECT was changed 5 months ago. I have checked the ECT with vagcom - Guage temp is 90 and vagcom is showing 85.5.
Thermostat replaced in Dec 90
The cluster is working ok - checked with vagcom.
Waterpump is ok - The car is not over heating. Waterpump and belt was changed 2yrs ago.

I tried looking for a bleed screw but I cannot see one.
Is the 1.9 tdi self bleeding?

The Temp display on mine also stays under 90 usually, Dont know if its because of the fan being run all the time? i have 2 other mates with a4's and the temp never just stays at 90 must be normal?

it used to stay on 90 and stayed there even when its cold/hot or the is the heaters are on.

ive got the same issue, mine did go up to 90 then its been at around about the 70 mark. Not sure if this is normal.
