Dash pod removal

can anyone point me in the direction of how to remove the dash pod in my avant, temp guage is a bit dodgy.
it still works but one day it will read different to another, had a code reader on it and it said temp guage short to earth, so i figure i will check for a dodgy solder joint on the back. ny instructions would be a big help

oh and i have already put a new temp sender in.

There was a great pictorial guide for this a few weeks ago, but since the forum upgrade none of the old threads are accessible Hopefully someone will be able to point you in the right direction of whoever posted it originally.

really big thanks for the reseach youve done on my behalf, looking at the thread has got me thinking can you change just the temp guage?
