my exhaust pipes are literally black and when i clean my car, the normal shampoo is no good at giving it the chrome finsih back.

does anyone know what to use to make them shine?

thanks

I used fine wire wool and Autosol, oh and plenty of elbow grease!!

thanks for that, where would i be able to buy this from?

halfordS?

yep, halfords have it, its not expensive and lasts for ever, it has a slight cutting agent in it, really is the dogs

great stuff. will pop ovrr to halfords at d weekend n get some. but first, need to fix d window regulator first. ****** annoying. thanks

pretty sure that something like "Autoglym Tar Remover" will do the job too... just test it on a small out-of sight spot first in case it takes off the shine of the exhast.... probably no worse than wire wool will do so though!!

I don't know who recommended it (detailing forum )but valve grinding paste does a marvelous job on the hardened carbon build up on the inside of the pipe.

FARECLA G3 or T-CUT
always works for me and doesnt mark the polished surface .
