Interior light door activation....how?

The interior light has stopped coming on when i open the rear passenger door and also the red light built into the door, i assume that the switch that controls this has gone on the blink,.....but where is it and how does it work, anyone know if its an easy fix

The micro switch is built into the door lock you need to remove the lock to get to the switch not an easy job try spraying some wd40 ....
