Driving down a long dual carriageway with many roundabouts yesterday morning my car developed a problem. Approaching a roundabout i braked and the brake pedal went down but did not come up again. Pulling away was like driving with the handbrake on. About 2 months ago my mechanic who i use all the time changed the front discs and pads but ive had no problems up until now. I left the car in the hard shoulder for 30mins then tried it again and it was fine and has been ever since. Could it be a possible Master Cylinder problem developing ? Maybe Air in the system ? or one of those things considering it was -1.5 degrees at the time !?
Car is a B6 130 TDI Sport.
