has anyone got the part number or knows where i can get one?

also where abouts is it on the engine will it be possible to fit it myself.

cheers.

i would be guess, so please dont shoot me down if im wrong...but on the 2.0l its at the back of the engine. pretty easy to change...take of the cover and various pipes (for space) the temp sensor sits on top of the flange (is green). unclip the connector, pull and remove the house shoe clip forward and it pulls out, remember to change the seal too. you'll need to bleed the coolant, to get any air locks out, then clear the fault on vag.com.

p.s, it cost me £28.38 for sensor and seal.

part numbers from TPS:
sensors - S059919501A
seal - N90316802

TPS or Audi or maybe eurocarparts.
