Had a 4 wheel alignment done by main dealer during the week, they got all wheels in spec except front left camber, the maximum it should be out is -1 degree 12 minutes, mine was -1 degree 53 minutes.

I know the previous owner had an altercation with a lorry at some traffic lights, it swung around when the audi was stationary and cought the side, not hard, just panel damage.

They are telling me that something is probably slightly bent, and they are saying it's either the top ally arms or the main bearing housing thingy (where the top and bottom arms go into)

What is usually the weakest part when the car has a slight knock, obviously it's gonna be cheaper to do the top arms first and see if that brings the front left in tollerance, if not then it's gonna be the main housing.

Any suggestions on the first thing to check / replace. 1.8 TQ S-line 2004.

Hi there
the two top alloy arms normally bend first but being honest
it would be hard to tell by looking at them .
so i would change the two top arms it's a cheaper option.
