Changed the Reg plate bulbs - Yellow > White

Hi all

just thought I'd update you on my latest 'mod'.

^I purchased these on reccomendation of another topic I found here on AS.net - they finally arrived (After being caught in the postal strikes I assume..) and I managed to switch them round today.

first impressions, bulb is a tad larger than the old one (I drive a 53 plate 1.9TDi Quattro Sport avant), but, slotted in fine with a little bit of force.

No DIS error to report *touch wood*, which is good. And, they look the part also. (cleans the back end nicely..)

Will try get photos later this evening when dark*ish*.

Are they nice and bright... I had bright LED bulbs on my bmw as standard. One of my friend's said "It's good a thing that you number plate is nice and bright they will help the police to spot you now" They were very bright . Post up a pic..

Quite interested in doing this myself, are they both matching in colour? i have had white LED's before and one has been white and the other more blueish, had to buy a few packs till i got a matching pair. just your luck i think.

I appologise for the quality, but, it's better than nothing.

Everyone that's seen it has said how much better it looks.
