Hi all can any one help im looking at installing the Ambient Interior Lighting in the rear

any part number and pic on how to install

You will find that there is no Audi part from the dealer that will simply plug into the REAR roof light cluster as per the original query!

Let's be honest all parts are available from dealers so it is a case of spending a little time with "Google" or the "Search" function on this forum - however if you want a quick fix and piece of mind on a guaranteed "fully illustrated documented" solution there are also alternative solutions out there which you may wish to consider.

Good guide, thanks. I bought and installed the front ambient light last week. It was about £10 from Audi. Part Number: 8E0919063A

Might try the back lighting now

The rear lights are fairly easy, just a word of caution. Inside the light housing are two marks, not dissimiliar to the ones in the front light, they look like ideal places to drill holes as they are dead central. Be warned though, from the 'outside' they are off centre. I found out the hard way
