    It does leave on a film, like a wax does. Invisible, but doesn't allow dirt or brake dust to adhere to the wheel, so simply washes off. have only applied once or twice since I've bought the stuff. Quite pricey per tub, but is very good.

    remeber having to use White spirit to get tar spots off before!
