Changing from Sport to SE suspension on A4 Avant B6 2001

Hello All

I am thinking of Changing from Sport to SE suspension on my A4 Avant B6 2001!
Now i know it normally happens in reverse but i live in potholy land with speed breakers

The issue is can i do this ? and if so does it only require the SE springs and shocks or are other bits needed.

Also does anyone have a 2001-2004 avant TDI and let me know what colour codes are on the front and rear springs
Does anyone have experience of SE VS sport suspension in terms of ride ( i spend most of my life on long motorway stretches )

I have an SE with 18" wheels and I must admit it does ride very well. Fitting the 18's from the previous 16's gave no discernable drop in ride quality at all. My only issue with it is the ride height which doesn't look great with larger wheels, although it is 'ok'.

Having said that I am going to lower it in due course, and one of the options I will consider will be to swap to oem Sport suspension.

hi there mate i had s suspension and sport se is perfect for comfort i have coilovers now and have full se suspensin if you need it shockers and springs
