Need to clean my car !!

Need to spend a bit of money on cleaning equipment and have been thinking about getting a karcher pressure washer and autobrite lance. Can someone please advise if they are compatible and whether they are worth the money.

I use a karcher pressure washer, came with loads of accessories. Apart from the fact that I point it at my car and it makes it clean, I don't know much about it. Seems to do the job though.

I've replied to your PM, but for the sake of sharing with everyone else...

I've never put shampoo of any kind in my washer. I only use it as a pre-wash before the good ol' bucket and sponge, followed by a rinse and towel dry. Then a polish if time and weather permits.

Im kind of a detailing freak, so if you want some advice to achieve something a lil better then just give us a pm.

For the Karcher, i'd recommend a snow foam lance with some good snow foam compound.

Also do not use spounges, use a wool mitt, its only a tenner and wont scratch the dirt on your paint.

Cheers for the tip. The fear of doing that was always why I gave her a thorough pre-wash with the pressure washer. Will probably pick one up this weekend.
