Double Din Climate

Hi all does anyone know the part number for the double din Climate Control unit that goes to 16 degrees C?

I always wondered if it could be reprogramed to goto 16 degrees
as 18 degrees sometimes is not cool enough but i dont want the AC on continuous as it is on low ?

The B5 climate is loads better than the B6 aswell. So I guess it aint just mine thats *****.

So what we saying here is if you get a climate control that goes down to 16, it will give you the 16 temperature?? aint there some programming to do or owt??

I "think" the later B6's (maybe B7's?) go down to 16.

I upgraded from Single DIN to Double DIN and the unit I know have is Part No. 8E0 820 043 BM.
It goes down to 16 degrees.

And do you find this works more efficiently than your previous 18 deg unit?

It seems considerably better than the original one which must have been one of the first on a B6 in 2001. Although I must admit I have never had it down as low as 16, 18 is fine for a good cool car with the newer unit.
