Blue tint wing mirror glass

Hi All

Did any of the B6 A4's come with the blue tint mirrors as standard ?

If so, does anyone know part number & price ?

If not, where is the best place to source a pair ?

I have never seen a standard blue tint, but there are plenty on ebay, varying from £4.99 to £14.99.

Whats the advantage of blue tint? Just less glare?

My sisters mk4 golf gti had Blue glass in the mirrors, it was supposed to be anti-dazzle.

I've been looking on ebay for some blue tint mirror glass.

Point the mirrors right down to the ground, and get your fingers behind and gently lever the glass off - it should pull off with a decent (but gentle) tug. And see if there are wires on the back.

Or else put the heated rear screen on and see if the glass feels warm to the touch.
