I'm looking at getting some silver bulbs(that flash orange) for my front and rear indicators on a b6. As the fronts are such an **** to get out, I dont want to strip them down to check which ones they are, rebuild them to drive to the spares shop, then strip them again to change them. Does anyone know which bulbs I need as there seems to be a load of different types(off set pins, straight pins etc)? I don't know if it makes any difference but, my car has xenon fronts. Would I be right in thinking that the rear ones are offset? I changed one a while back but cant be certain I have remembered correctly.
Any help + links to the relevent blubs on ebay would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, the indicator bulbs are actually pretty easy to fit both front and rear.

Search E-Bay for Audi A4 indicator bulbs and you get lots of hits. The larger ones with caps fit the front or rear, the small capless ones fit the side repeaters.

Heres a link to a set

The fronts need the headlight cluster to come out, just remove the top to star bolts, and loosen the lower 2 star bolts 5 or 6 turns. The whole light cluster just pulls out no drama.

At the back, undo the bolt from insode the car and then yank the cluster away from the car by pulling to the side, the lights just pop off their mounts.

If the car has been to bits before it is a lot easier. If it is the first time it is a little tighter!

Have fun.
