Ok....

I've read all the posts that a search returned and am pretty sure I agree with one.

Stating the sidelights if you have xenon's are NOT 501's.

I unfortunately read the posts after a trip to halfords, were I picked up some 501's.

Managed to get the bulb out (without removing the headlight), but could not get the bulb out of the holder.

I suspect it's because the H6W bulb does not pull out ???

From the looks of it you need to pop it out with a small screwdriver behind the bobble on the bottom part of the bulb.

But would really appreciate some clarification on this one.

Also, anyone know where I might be able to get the H6W bulb from tomorrow in or around Northampton ?

Halfords don't appear to stock the H6W bulbs.

Thanks
Graeme

The H6W is a bayonet fitting, you need to twist it 90° anti clockwise and pull to remove from the holder. They can be very tight though!

Thanks.

I finally got a 6W bulb from the 2nd halfrauds here :)
