Things to look out for when buying an A4 TDi??

My dad is going to look at an A4 TDi in a few hours.. Its got 77K on it all bets/pumps changed FASH.

Can anyone tell me a few things to check for to maybe hassle the price down, or even walk away if its bad?

Think your in the wrong section mate N reg would make it a B5 not B6

It's a 12/13 year old car so I would just be checking the same things as any other car of that age.

The only thing that springs to mind on the B5 chassis A4s is the front lower suspension arms were weak but they should have been replaced with the newer design on a car of that age. Check the service history for suspension work.

I guess 77k is quite low for that age so look for signs that it's done a higher mileage.
