Just swapped a Leon cupra R for A4 S-line Quattro saloon. Very happy with the car. Got demo June 04 car with 400 miles on the clock for £22,490. This included rear elec windows, BOSE, Symphony, Ali trim strips, storage pack and Akoya Silver metallic paint.
My Leon had been to AMD and had re-map, full Milltek and DV, giving it 278 bhp and 304lb ft torque. The A4 went immmediately to the same place as it just wouldn't be quick enough. Rolling road before gave 184bhp which is slightly down. AMD said this would be a combination of a very hot day and so few miles on the clock. Had re-map and Dv and drove away with circa 250bhp and 250lb ft torque. Still running so not given it much stick but it is very close to the leon now. Milltek exhaust on order.
I am not into 'bling' at all but the only thing I wish you could change are the pedals. i like the brushed stainless ones on the leon which are similar to the TT and R32. Can you get these for an A4?? If amyone knows please let me know.
