How to reset fixed service light

Just had my A4 service localy and need the light reset, can anybody help?

I've read it can be done using the buttons inside the car but not sure how?

It's a 2003 tdi

Just found this on the web.....

Press and hold the right button. (odometer reset)

now switch on the ignition
(oil lamp will not flash, but on at all times)

press the right button again
(insp is now displayed)

pull left button. (clock set)
(------ are now displayed)

Pull left button again

Cheers not sure this will work with mine i can't pull anything

Of the top of my head on the left hand side i have MODE then + - Buttons

On the right hand side i have

button to reset miles
Button for service and another


Will have a look tonight but thought somebody on here might know so i could do it whilst at work

This is it:

- Switch off ignition.

- Press the service button (with spanner on under speedo) and hold down while turning ignition on, display will show
"Service in xxxxxx km or Service!

- Now press and hold the reset button (0.0 under speedo) until display shows
"Service in ----- km or Service!

And don't forget you have to do a few hundred miles again before the service due in ----- reading will give you an actual mileage.
