I noticed that a mysterious oily green liquid is dripping onto my drive from the engine area of my A4. I thought at first it was windscreen wash but it was oily. Any ideas what it is?
I think you might find that's your engine oil!!!!!
Had a similar substance all over the bottom of my new S4 the day after I picked it up. Turned out an oil seal had not been fitted correctly on the engine.
Is you car using the VSI oil?
Recommend you check the oil, and get the dealer out.
Thanks - but why would it be green? Had a quick word with the dealer today who said it might be engine coolant.

One more thing: on a 9 hour journey through France on the hottest day of the year last week, guess what: the aircon failed! It's stuck on ECON. When you press the ECON button the light goes off briefly but goes straight back on again. Has anyone else had this?
It's going to the dealer next week hopefully to sort out both these problems.

Goes in on Tuesday to be fixed.
