S4 Clutch Judder on an '03 plate (help asap)

Friend is looking at buying an '03 S4 wagon, which is on ebay (or just finished) its got 120k and is chipped to 400bhp.

The clutch doesnt slip but it juddered on the bit and take off.

Any Ideas??? on probs and repair costs

Sounds like either clutch is contaminated with oil from a leaking crank seal (unlikely given the car's age) or a faulty dual-mass flywheel.

The clutch judder could just be down to driving style. Mastering the clutch on S4's takes some time. Also a remap alone will get you no where near 400bhp from the V8 lump. A complete system including sports cats plus the removal of the down pipe cats and a map will probably get aorund 380bhp on a good day.
