Hello Everybody
I decided that after the free trial I couldn't live without it. After the first hour or two, once the thing had a chance to fully "adapt", I am totally delighted. Everything is better including, believe it or not, the fuel economy.....which I really don't understand. I had it done by Sean at Big Boys Toys in Thurrock who was very helpfull, honest and genuinely enthusiastic. I may finally have laid the ghost of the old Alfa to rest! Don't forget that mine is an auto so the power is constant from 1200 to 6000 rpm as there is no rest between gear changes. It really is quite exhilerating. Just thought you might all like to know.

Alibob,

If I remember correctly you have a 163hp 1.8t. Is that correct?

The reason I ask is that I have a 163 and am VERY disappointed with the performance.

How does yours compare to the Alfa now? Quicker, same?

What cars would you feel comfortable going head to head with now on in-gear acceleration?

YES I HAVE A 163HP (OR RATHER HAD) I WOULD SAY THAT IT IS NOW QUICKER THAN THE ALFA BUT OF COURSE IT DOESN'T HANDLE QUITE AS WELL. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT COULD BEAT THOUGH
