S-Line Lower apron Fitted To Standard Upper Bumper???

i bought a sline lower and upper front bumper of ebay, wen arrived i noticed the upper was standard and had been modified to fit the lower apron.

all fits ok and will go on the car ok but am wondering will i have probs with the grills fitting? i dont have grills so dont know!

anyone know of any other probs as a result of this???

i modded my standard bumper for the s-lne lower on my old tdi and had no problems at all,the grills are dirt cheap from audi and fitted spot on.

I didnt realise the sline bumper was different from the standard bumper, i just thought the Sline bit was just the bottom apron!

its more or less the same j7uss, just how the lower part fits to it is slightly different.
nothing stanley and his mate hacksaw cant handle.

the standard uppers connecting lugs are longer than the sline's upper part so they need cut shorter..

grill arrived the day ad they seem to fit fine!

got the grill from vag parts and cost me £111.14 p&p included! not dirt cheap!

also hav on order the s4 lower door mouldings to replace the sline ones so have all my sline bumpers etc. jus need painted and fitted and we're look pretty sweet!

dont remember mine costing me that much!

the fog grills were about £15 each.
i may of got the centre grill with the lower valance.
sorry about that jey.

worth it though mate, transforms the car once its all done.

Sline are smaller than the S4 so depends if you want a subtle or aggresive look.
