saloon to cab exhaust swop?

I'm looking at buying an after market exhaust (milltek etc) for my 2001 A4 1.8T Saloon, however I know we will be looking at changing the car for an A4 cabriolet next summer.. If we again went for the B6 1.8T engine would the exhaust fit on that too?

Not sure that it would as the underside of the cab is prety different due to the amount of strength required underneath the car due to the lack of roof!
