No ski hatch!?

Right so I walk to the back of my car with snowboard in hand.... open the boots, and what a suprise, the git doesnt fit

Had to travel 45mins with 3 adults in the back and snowboard riding up front in the passenegr seat

I have no ski hatch in the middle of the rear seats! Does anyone know if this can be retro fitted, or can I pull off the carpet on the back of the rear seats and cut it out?

not sure about retro fit but their is a steel wall behind the carpet (if your seats dont fold flat)
