Hello Everyone
Just bought another A4 after 3 years away. Its a 2002 1.8T Multitronic and 10 minutes after picking it up some woman that couldn't control her 4x4 school run bus put a crack in the door mirror. I have purchased and sprayed a new one but believe it or not I can't get the old one off. I have undone the 2 screws at the bottom and presume that you have to then force it off.....or have I missed something?

You don't need to undo the screws.

Prize the mirror out, remove the mirror motor.

The back will be either 'snapped on' or screwed. The bottom half and the main frame which connects to the car will stay in place.

That's why I did on my B5 but i'm told the B6 is the same.

Yeah the glass does prize out.

I wouldn't imagine that it's much different to mine
