Single beep turning ignition off...

Had a roof-mount DVD fitted to keep the kids quiet (!) – works great (and IMHO much safer than the previous 'hung-on-the-headrest' affair) – but now when I turn the ignition OFF, there's an annoying single beep from behind the dash somewhere. The temperature selectors on the air-con displayed some odd numbers on one start up too (but only once)....

Can anyone tell me what this could mean? I'm going to go back to the installers to see if they can offer any explanation.

Any thoughts?
Should I be worried??
Is something broken ???

it might be coming from the speakers to tell you to remove the faceplate or front of the unit? My old cd player did that if I didnt pop the front out and take it with me.
