Anyone know what the standard glossy black trim is called on a B6?
I'm assuming it's different to piano black?
Having a sort out and need to get my old trim on ebay as I replaced it for the fishscale and would like to recoup some of the extortionate cost (although it is good) and want to describe it properly.

It is called Piano Black I think mate. I saw a configurator advert that was for the cabrio that mentioned satin or glossy piano black, so if its shiny...

Piano black is the standard trim.

I guess in some colour options it looks ok but we have black leather and dash is all black so felt that it needed a lift. The aluminium trim looks much more special IMO

Yep, same here, too much black and to me it just looked tacky, so it had to go.
Thanks for the replies I'll get it on the bay, I'm sure someone will like it.

Andy seen a few on the old flee bay not going for much so good luck fella
