hi,
At low volume I tend not to have all speakers working! When i turn it up, they all come on! This is intermittent though.

Didnt do it with another stereo I fitted. However I want to stick with the original and use a Xcarlink.

COuld it be a dry solder? Anyone else had this?

I initially thought it was the speaker door connectors but as its ok on another unit, it must be the unit itself.

Any help appreciated
Paul

Dirty connections on the door pillar connector is the most likely culprit. Do you have the Bose system, or just the normal one?
The connectors are a pig to get to as they are hidden inside the inner skin of the A pillar up & under the dash at the sides. They get gunked up over time and turning up the volume overcomes the electrical resistance so you get speakers cutting out at low volume.
