Change of head beam light

Hi, i'm driving A4 1.8 T quattro 2001, would like to change my head beam light to a higher quality one, e.g. xeon.
Do you know average price? and is Xeon headlight the best quality ?
Can i purchase those from halford in stead of going online?

i got my xenon kit for £90 cnt quite remember the website i got mine from but a few of the chaps on here also got theres from the same one, im sure there memory is better than mine so they will prob remember the website!

You cant just buy the xenon bulbs from halfords as you need the hardware to make them work properly. hids-direct.co.uk does the kits most people on here have bought, get the one meant for BMWs & Audi's which is £100, the £80 set will set off the blown bulb warnings & then you'll need to phone them up to get the £20 resistor pack to stop the warning light!
