dash board lights

hi can any one tell me, on my dash above the radio is the cup holder and the wee drawer inbetween the hazard switch,are these ment to light up.as i have just bought the car and was not sure.its a audi a4 on a 03plate thaanks

They only illuminate on the very late models, late 04' etc, you can buy them to retrofit but its an awful lot of expense and effort just to have the cup symbol to light up.

They light up on my 2001/51plate, but they didn't on my last B6 A4. I think the reason they light up on my current one is because it came with the light pack installed. But it seems that maybe they made these light up on the later models as standard.

The dials on the vents also lights up, but I think that's also part of the light pack.

Mine light up on my Mid '04 S4.

Late 04 SE Avant and the cup holder, vents etc light up on mine. I fitted the ambient lights last week, its well worth doing
